Pam is a designer with a passion for landscapes that celebrate seasonality and are lovingly maintained. She believes, “designs should thoughtfully manage nature’s exuberance; and offer magic, every single day.” Pam also believes landscapes are at their best with an invested designer and she enjoys long term relationships with her clients.

Pam has a Graduate Certificate in Landscape Design from George Washington University and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. She worked as a Lead Gardener and Manager at historic Ballantrae Farm Estate, designed by DCA Landscape Architects of Washington, DC. She spent over a decade there, working with horticulturalist, Jan Conti, to maintain, enrich, and develop that landscape. Pam also spent time as a Gardener Supervisor at the US Capitol Grounds, where she delighted in the care of another historic landscape.

Pam is particularly adept in the use of plants in design. Her years of experience with how they grow, and what they do every day of the year gives her a unique perspective as a designer. She is skilled in the use of perennials and deciduous shrubs. Above all she exalts the flower bulb- which she believes is the greatest missed opportunity of the landscape design world.
